BEACH EVENT

The warm-up race is held on Saturday afternoon at the picturesque British Admiral Beach.  Entry (on the day) is by gold coin donation with all proceeds going to the Event Charity. The course will be approximately 3 km in length (the exact distance will be declared prior to the race start). The winner of the race is the one who runs a time closest to their predicted time. This event is followed by the famous “Free Willies” beach sprint.

Where: British Admiral Beach, follow Netherby Rd from Currie.

When: Saturday 7th of March. Sign up from 1.30pm. Event starts 2.00 pm.

Getting There:  British Admiral Beach is 4 km from the Currie township.  A return bus service will be leaving the Currie Post Office at 1:30 pm.

Cost: Gold coin donation

To Enter:  On the day at the venue.

Prize: $50

Please note – There are no change room facilities and toilets at the venue.  Please be prepared.
