TRANSPORT TO STARTING LINE

A bus service to the starting line is available for any entrants in the individual races only.  Seats on any of the bus services must be pre-booked. Bookings can be made when entering online or on the entry form at a cost of $5 per seat.  Spectators can also utilize this bus service.  All buses will be returning to Currie.  To arrange a return seat contact the bus driver on the day.

Bus Departure Times from Currie Post Office
6:00 am - Bus for 32 km Walkers and Non-Handicapped Runners
7:00 am – Bus for 32 km Handicapped Runners – Front Markers
7:15 am – Bus for 32 km Handicapped Runners – Back Markers
8:45 am – Bus for 8 km Short Course Walkers

Please note: 32km walkers who intend to start at 6:00am will need to contact race organisers if they need transport to the starting line.

Transport for Teams:
Each team will need to organise a support vehicle to transport team members to their starting point and to collect those who have finished their leg.  Click here to find out some information about hiring a car on King Island.
